Val Males was appointed as Joint Patron of the Society in December 2019.
Ron and Val have long been well known and highly respected by members of The Arabian Horse Society of Australia Ltd. through their Ralvon prefix, they have been tireless supporters of the Society and dedicated ambassadors for the Arabian horse for more than 50 years, introducing countless people to the breed. Val served on the Board of Directors for many years, and both were awarded Honorary Life Membership in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Society. They were also honoured by Her Majesty The Queen for their services to the equine industry.
Following the sad passing of Ron Males, the Society gratefully acknowledges his immense contribution and lasting legacy. We are honoured that Val Males continues to serve as Patron of the Society, and we thank her for her ongoing support, dedication and commitment to the Arabian horse community.
