Ms Tanya Hosking

I am honoured to have been appointed to fill the NSW casual vacancy on the Board of the Arabian Horse Society of Australia.

My involvement with Arabian horses has been a significant part of my life for many years. During that time, I have been fortunate to experience many aspects of our industry, including breeding, showing, event management, volunteering, and previously serving on the AHSA Board.
Like many members, my journey with Arabians began through a genuine love of the breed. What has kept me involved over the years is not only the horses themselves, but also the people and friendships that make up our Arabian community. I believe our breed is supported by passionate members who dedicate countless hours behind the scenes, and I have always enjoyed being one of those people.

Over the years, I have also been actively involved with various Arabian committees., working alongside a dedicated team of volunteers to deliver events and opportunities for Arabian horse enthusiasts. Through these roles, I have gained valuable experience in governance, event administration, and member engagement, while maintaining a strong connection to the grassroots level of our industry.

As a Director, I look forward to working collaboratively with my fellow Board members and engaging with members across Australia. I am passionate about supporting the future of the Arabian horse, encouraging participation at all levels, and ensuring our Society continues to evolve.
I would like to thank those who have supported and encouraged me throughout my journey. I look forward to serving our members and contributing to the continued success of the Arabian Horse Society of Australia.
