The Board of Directors is happy to advise that the Arabian Horse Society of Australia has a newly appointed Honorary Treasurer and also a separate very highly qualified financial advisor:
The Board is please to Welcome Jody Pickering who has accepted the position of Honorary Treasurer to the Board, Jody is a practising Accountant and is a part owner in her own accounting practise in Victoria, Jody is also a full National Panel AHSA Judge (she recently officiated at the 40th Anniversary Australian Arabian National Championships).
We are also pleased to welcome Vanessa Crossland back to the Finance Sub-Committee as a financial affairs advisor/consultant most of you are aware of Vanessas financial business credentials and would be aware of her standing within the Arabian community as the owner of Syrah Arabians.
We believe the combined capabilities and experience shared between Jody and Vanessa will provide lasting stability and guidance in relation to the financial position of the Arabian Horse Society and, as a board, look forward to working with them both.
