Ms Karen Brunt

The Society’s new Treasurer, Karen Brunt, is well qualified for the role, with a wealth of financial experience and a passion for Arabian Horses. Her accounting career of over 20 years included roles in large corporate organisations, agriculture, manufacturing and a not-for-profit charity. With a Bachelor of Commerce, Diploma of Accounting, Diploma in Management & membership of CPA (ASA), Karen is particularly interested in business improvement, ensuring processes are best practice and up to date. Under the ‘Odyssey Arabians’ prefix, Karen and her family have been breeding purebreds and derivatives since 1988. Among their successful horses was 2010 Australian Champion Part bred stallion Odyssey Golden Legend.

Karen is currently the Chairperson of SA Arabs Inc, supporting the club as it continues to grow, and with a particular interest in running SA ARABS annual Championship show.
